As a board member, you will work together with the other people on the board and the management team to move AAE forward and implement strategy and action.

As a team member, you usually report to one board member and collaborate with different people across the team, board and NAAs depending on your role.

We expect you to:

• Have Passion and vision for AIESEC Alumni
• Have AIESEC experience
• Be persistent and energetic
• Be able to travel to 1-3 AAE meetings per year (Planning Weekend, ERAC, StepUp)
• The board will be elected for a term of two years, while management team roles can be appointed for 1-2 years or according to need.
• Reside in Europe during your term in AIESEC Alumni Europe.

President– Have a clear vison for the European region and be able to communicate it
– Leading the AAE board, tracking the success of the board, helping in solving problems
– Bring energy, initiatives, ideas for discussions
– Praise what works and fix what does not
– Manage the relationship to AAI and other RAAs
VP Finance– Annual budget: Creation and Control
– Invoicing of fee share agreements
– Be informed about AAE activities, know financial implications
– Offer advice to other board members on finance related matters
– Auditors
– Management of bank account & reimbursement of expenses
VP Communications– Create Communication Strategy
– Management of Social Media channels & website
– Logo and Marketing Materials
– Collect input from board for publication
– Run communication campaigns
– Gatekeeper for outside AAE communication
– Lead the communication team
VP Tech– Setting AAE’s IT systems up for success
– Make agreements with IT suppliers for NGOs (Microsoft, LinkedIn, Zoom, …)
– Administer web sites, WordPress, email/ lists…
– Define templates and good practices for our NAAs
– Knowledge Management
VP NAA Growth– Inform about status of NAAs and suggest actions
– Organisation of monthly NAA call
– Collect and share best practices
– Regular bilateral calls to NAAs and communities
– Development and maintenance of “NAA Start-up package”
– Management of communication details to NAAs and communities
– Keeping track of events of NAAs and communities
– Collect and calculate KPIs
VP Alumni Engagement
Mentoring Program Manager– Program Coordination: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the AIESEC Alumni Europe Mentoring Program, ensuring alignment with AAE’s mission and values.
– Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with national AIESEC Alumni associations (NAAs), mentors, mentees, and partners to facilitate program activities and foster strong relationships.
– Training & Development: Organize and oversee training sessions for mentors and mentees, including mid-term and final evaluations, in collaboration with partners like Kingmakers.
Communication Management: Develop and disseminate promotional materials, newsletters, and updates to maintain engagement and visibility of the mentoring program.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Track program progress, collect feedback, and implement improvements to enhance the effectiveness and impact of the mentoring experience.
Event Planning: Coordinate key events such as mentor-mentee matching sessions, mid-term check-ins, and the program’s closing ceremony.
Conference Manager– Contact person for ERAC & StepUp
– Collaborate with AAE Board to plan conference agenda
– Collect and make available all conference information
– Manage Conference infrastructure and Logistics
– Manage Agenda execution at conference
Organization & Development Manager– Inform about the status of NAA’s and suggest actions
– Organisation of regular calls with the respective countries
–  Collect and share best practices with other countries and VP NAA Growth
 – Support VP NAA Growth to develop an “NAA Start-up package”
– Keeping track of events of countries and communities under your leadership
– Connect with the board of the NAA/ community
– Subscribe to the Newsletters
– Follow up after NAA calls (especially if no attendance)
– Prepare to sign of Financial Agreement
Social Media Manager– Updating social networks with engaging content, status updates, pictures, videos, and comments;
– Planning, publishing, and promoting editorial posts;
– Preparing a social media editorial calendar;
– Engaging with alumni through our channels of communication;
– Identifying trends and building new social media strategies;
– Creating and promoting social media content in line with the AIESEC Alumni brand and AIESEC values.
Video Maker and Editor– Shooting videos for social media;
– Transforming raw clips and video footage into high-quality finished videos used to inform, engage, and inspire our audience;
– Engaging with alumni through our channels of communication;
– Creating and promoting social media content in line with the AIESEC Alumni brand and AIESEC values.
